Who's Mandy Bee?

I've really fought having to write this thing. I still don't really want to write it. I never know what to say about myself. People are too multi-faceted to write a few paragraphs about—you'd never really get a proper picture of them with just that.

I'm pretty young, barely out of college. I like to think I'm mature but I don't think that I really portray that on the outside because I've turned into a fairly silly, happy-go-lucky kind of person. I've learned to grab onto life and really enjoy it, quiet moments and all.

I've got a passion for art and design. An awesome, hand-drawn website makes me squeal with joy. I love designing, I love drawing, creating. I love turning websites into HTML using a few div tags and lots of CSS. I've been learning about and creating websites since I was nine years old and decided to get my degree in Interactive Design. I love the constraints that accessability and usability give the web designer and the freedom that CSS gives us to design anything! The mix of logic and creativity, turning code into something that interacts with people, is just so frickin' cool! Don't you think?

Anyway, I'm short, which people always seem to notice and talk about. I love tea—I'm obsessive about tea. One of my desk drawers is full of green and black teas, some oolong. It's ridiculous. (But I like to share! Want some?) I crochet and am learning to knit. I get made fun of pretty often for being "old" because I don't like to stay out late, I crochet, I have cats and I'm a homebody.
