Piranha is such a sweet little kitty cat and when he’s not whining, he puts a smile on my face. 🙂 Plus he let’s me use him as a pillow.

Being happy: Lofty Deeds
Did some yard work today. Exhausted! One of the two oranges that grew on our orange tree ripened. John managed to dig up the rogue bamboo in the backyard. After we cleaned up our mess, we brought out the sprinkler. I had to coax John into playing in the sprinkler with me.
The smell of the water reminded me of being a kid. My mom always set up the sprinkler out back or filled up one of those plastic kiddy pools. It felt wonderful after working so hard. I’ve never played in the sprinklers fully clothed before. It might be more fun than running around in your bathing suit. 🙂
Being happy: with a migraine
Being happy: Good BBQ
I was fortunate enough to get free passes to the Bubbles and BBQ event in Winter Park from my boss. I figured John and I would be the only ones going to the event since no one else at work seemed to have any interest in going. I found out this morning that half of the office was going!
So we had another fun WebSolvers night! Here’s a picture of Fleur using the seemingly useless knives that were provided. Yes, she’s cutting her coleslaw.
Being happy: Lunch with Jessy
Jessy asked me if I wanted to have lunch with her today. I owed her $10 and lost earlier in the day somewhere. No worries. I’m not going to let ten dollars bring me down.
We had fun and many strange conversations (as illustrated with the second attached picture) which is pretty usual for us. It’s rare that Jessy comes over to my side of town for lunch – this rare occassion is definitely my happy for the day. 🙂
Being happy: Rockband night
Yesterday was the second ever Beatles Rockband night held at my house. Probably not too smart to hold it on a school night (I’m paying for it now) but we had a lot of fun. I’m so lucky to work with people that I still like after being around them for eight hours. :p
While I took the drums, Fleur, Ashley and Giles got the best singing score of the night! WTG
